The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Partner Engagement Specialist.

General Description

Broward County's Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau is looking for an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Partner Engagement Specialist. This role will focus on managing and nurturing relationships with our partners, as well as optimizing customer relationship management (CRM) processes and leveraging the Act-On marketing automation platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with a solid understanding of CRM systems and Act-On software. This position will play a critical role in enhancing partner satisfaction, driving engagement, and maximizing the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Overall, the position will support the GFLCVB by maintaining positive relationships with local industry partners and working to collect information to increase the customer experience within Broward County.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Requires four (4) years of experience in customer relations, including two (2) years of experience dealing with major cruise lines, airlines, or other relevant hospitality business entities.

Special Certifications and Licenses

Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

Preferences

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.* Proven experience in partner relationship management, preferably in a B2B or tourism-focused environment.* Strong knowledge and proficiency in CRM systems.* Proficiency in using Act-On or other marketing automation platforms.* Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with partners and internal stakeholders.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.* Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.* Proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.

Partner Engagement Management:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for partner organizations, ensuring proactive and timely communication.* Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.* Collaborate with internal teams to develop joint marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs that align with partner objectives.* Provide support to partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating resources as needed.* Regularly assess partner satisfaction, gather feedback, and implement strategies to improve partner relations.* Present publicly with industry partners and government officials. The ability to speak well publicly is necessary.

CRM Optimization:

* Develop, implement, and maintain effective CRM strategies, policies, and procedures.* Ensure accurate and up-to-date data management within the CRM system, including partner information, interactions, and performance metrics.* Analyze CRM data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to enhance partner engagement.* Create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner relations and business development.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CRM processes and data across departments, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

Act-On Marketing Automation:

* Manage and execute marketing campaigns using the Act-On platform, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and lead scoring.* Monitor campaign performance, track metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization.* Leverage Act-On's features and functionalities to segment target audiences, personalize communications, and drive engagement.* Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align Act-On campaigns with overall business objectives and sales funnel strategies.* Stay up-to-date with Act-On best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies, applying them to improve marketing automation efforts.

Performs related work as assigned.

In the event of a disaster (hurricane, etc.) all Broward County employees become emergency workers. This position will assist in various emergency functions as-assigned before, during, and after a disaster. This includes, but is not limited to, working at a general population shelter during a hurricane.

Physical Demands
