We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects on behalf of our client. In this role, you will lead and coordinate the project team, including the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and potentially a Project Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining open communication within the team, monitoring and managing project budgets, and ensuring proper email etiquette in all communications. As the Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in pre-construction activities, such as permit management and project introductions, as well as construction-related tasks, including constant on-site supervision and coordination of subcontractors.

In the pre-construction phase, you will be responsible for disseminating main permits to subcontractors, reviewing construction drawings, and checking existing conditions. During construction, you will proactively plan and schedule activities, conduct site meetings, and address Requests for Information (RFIs) and changes. Additionally, you will oversee the cleanliness of the job site, ensure quality control, and coordinate inspections. The role also involves coordinating final inspections, managing finishing activities, and facilitating the closeout process.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in maintaining a clean and organized job site. Furthermore, your ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, address issues promptly, and document project activities through daily logs and regular reports will contribute to the successful completion of projects. The Construction Superintendent will be a key liaison between our client and various stakeholders, promoting positive attitudes and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Experience in managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring project compliance with codes and specifications is essential. The Construction Superintendent should be adept at conducting safety meetings, managing accident investigations, and overseeing the entire construction process from pre-construction to project closeout. If you have a proven track record in construction supervision and are dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
