We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to provide engineering support for the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of large-scale process control systems. Job Description: Engineering Support: Field instrumentation selection Panel design (electrical and mechanical) Applications programming (database & graphics) PLC programming Documentation and training Project Participation: Full life-cycle project delivery, including sales support, design, procurement, implementation, commissioning, testing, and training Managing projects with multiple systems and subsystems communicating via LAN/WAN or low-speed data lines with various third-party systems and software packages SCADA Projects: Handling PLCs, RTUs, and other intelligent devices communicating over copper, fiber, or wireless to centralized monitoring and control locations ATMS Subsystems: Working with Variable Message Signs, CCTV, RTUs, PLCs, Traffic Controllers, and cable-based and wireless communications systems Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering 2-5 years of relevant experience Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs Working knowledge of network architectures such as Ethernet, SONET, and wireless Strong documentation, technical writing, and verbal communication skills Relevant experience in PLC-HMI control for water, wastewater, power, manufacturing, or transportation systems Preferred experience in remote site SCADA, wireless communications, or 600V DC traction power Experience with control system design, integration, and equipment, including computer systems, programmable logic controllers, remote terminal units, process instrumentation, and software About the Company: Opportunity to solve complex problems that improve daily life Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in a high-growth industry Career growth and development opportunities Casual work environment with flexible work hours Excellent benefits, including a no-cost medical insurance option for employees and eligible dependents Work Environment: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office/field, 2 days remote) This position involves splitting time between the office and the field. Engineers work in the office/field 2-3 days a week and from home the other 2 days. 50% development – SCADA & PLC programming 25% design – submittals 10-15% commissioning (in the field) Dress code: Business casual Travel: 10% Additional Skills: Experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley programming is preferred, but experience with other PLC programs is also applicable.
