We're is seeking a results-driven

Senior Behavioral Designer

to shape the shopper and merchant experiences for our AI -powered conversion rate optimization solution. This role calls for a person that thrives in a fast-paced, scrappy, start-up environment who can be effective at tactical and strategic levels. We want a team member that can generate foundational insights and deep knowledge of shoppers and their buying journeys as well as shape the future direction of our solution. We want someone that can also shift gears into execution mode, prototyping behavioral nudges to test and build, conducting user research to validate proposed nudges, and iterating on nudge designs based on the team’s feedback. We are looking for someone that welcomes close collaboration and partnership with engineering, data science, and product teammates to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Responsibilities

Develop a Deep Understanding of E-Commerce Brands and Online Shoppers Serve as the behavioral expert on our customers, e-commerce brands looking to profitably grow their businesses, and of e-commerce shoppers, whose purchase decisions we are trying to influence.

Turn Insights into Action Collaborate with teammates in product, engineering, and data science to ideate on solutions and experiments to drive performance improvements, validate / disprove our most critical assumptions, and ultimately deliver on our core value proposition.

Design Flows and Experiences Take broad, conceptual concepts and create flows and experiences that meet users' needs, are simple, intuitive, and easy-to-use, and provide teammates with the right level of fidelity to execute on.

Required Experience / Qualifications

Proven track record of impact (quantifiable results on metrics that matter)

Background in behavioral design

Prior experience working at or with start-ups or early-stage initiatives (0 to 1)

Experience designing, building, and shipping behavior-changing solutions

Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness

Experience developing and executing customer and user research

Proficiency in product/

UX

design

Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with significant autonomy

Proficiency with widely-used design and development tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Jira)
