Rogers Group is currently seeking candidates to fill a position as a Haul Truck Driver in Vega TX. This position will report to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience operating rigid frame and/or articulated haul trucks and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Full-Time Day Shift Wages starting at $23.00/hr. Responsibilities as a Haul Truck Driver include: * Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process. * Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies. * Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management. * Effective communication skills applicable to position. * Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency. * Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. * Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. * Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. * Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed. * Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Drivers License required QUALIFICATIONS * Dedication to safe work practices. * Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred. * Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed. * Pass pre-employment drug screen.
