Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: We are looking to fill this role in both our Orlando, FL location and Melbourne, FL location.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, plus bonus potential

Job Summary:
As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering high-quality tax services for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations. You will oversee tax compliance, planning, and consulting projects, ensuring that all client needs are met with accuracy and professionalism. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
  • Understand clients' business operations and identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Tax Compliance and Planning:
  • Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical advice on complex tax issues.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client outcomes.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments and specialists within the firm to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
  • Business Development:
  • Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Participate in networking events and professional organizations to build the firm's reputation and expand its client base.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and research for diverse client types.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.
