Your Role as Construction Services Administrator
As the General Accounting Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring the general accounting team operates smoothly and maintains accurate and complete records using sound accounting principles and in alignment with Company quality, process, and business standards in the preparation, analysis, and review of accounting and financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Working to optimize processes, train team members and build relationships with others within and outside of the unit to facilitate processes and procedures.
Managing a team of accounting associates in:
Processing accounts payable and all associated invoices
Processing of bi-weekly payroll.
Supervising the processing of credit card payments.
Supervising the processing of expense and travel reports through Concur.
Updating of recurring general ledger entries to reflect depreciation, amortization, and appropriate changes in accrued costs or expenses.
Review of coding for accounts payable invoices.
Preparation and review of monthly bank reconciliations.
Assisting with the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
Assisting with year-end audits.
Ensuring reports/documents are forwarded to auditors/tax preparers, and appropriate documentation is maintained.
Identifying and resolving accounting, reporting and tax issues.
Assisting with the preparation of company and department budgets.
Ensuring adequate insurance coverage is provided on all ongoing projects.
Maintaining “Timberscan, Print Boss” or similar software program.
Assisting with special projects.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field of study.
Minimum Experience: 4 years of experience. Prefer experience in the construction industry.
Proficient MS Office skills.
Advanced MS Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.
Proven ability to direct and lead a team of accounting professionals
CPA and / or CCIFP preferred
