Eskerium and Polar Gold Extracts focus on revealing the true potential of hemp by crafting products that lead the market in quality and innovation, while enhancing the lives of our customers and communities.<br><br><strong>Job Summary:</strong> The Post Processing and QC Technician is responsible for the post-processing of our live resin extract. This role includes recording extract weights, purging solvents, preparing samples for QC, ensuring QC checks pass from the analytical team, and packaging live resin into jars for inventory. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of product quality and safety.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li><strong>Post Processing:</strong> Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to remove residual solvents from extracts and record post-purge weights in our software.</li><li><strong>Quality Control (QC):</strong> Prepare samples for QC testing, collaborate with the analytical team to ensure solvent testing is conducted accurately, and confirm that all QC checks are passed.</li><li><strong>Inventory Management:</strong> Package live resin into jars, ensure proper labeling, and input data into the inventory management system.</li><li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate records of extract weights, purging processes, and QC results in our software system.</li><li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with the extraction and QC teams to ensure seamless production processes.</li><li><strong>Compliance and Safety:</strong> Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.</li><li><strong>Ability to Crosstrain:</strong> Being able to cross train on various roles including biomass handling and extraction to assist the team if bottlenecks arise.</li></ul><br><strong>Requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Must be 21 years of age or older.</li><li>Legal to work in the US and proficient in English</li><li>Able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00pm.</li><li>Reliable transportation and a willingness to commute within a reasonable distance.</li><li>Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.</li><li>Able to stand, climb, squat, bend, twist, and sit for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain a reasonable work pace.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>Prior experience working in manufacturing of any products is a plus.</li><li>Prior experience in the cannabis industry is a positive but not required. Strong, reliable candidates with a willingness to learn will be trained.</li></ul><br><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong><br><ul><li>Starting pay of $20 per hour, with potential for raises based on performance.
