Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse is prepared to function as a member of the health-care team by exercising sound nursing judgment based on preparation, knowledge, experience and competency. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment. This position works directly with primary care and behavioral health providers to room patients, collect preliminary visit information and test samples, maintain patient records, communicate with patients regarding basic medical procedures, and assist in basic examinations. This professional can multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment while continuing to provide personalized, compassionate service.
Please Note: This position would be the first called upon to float locations in consideration of necessary staffing coverage. Travel between all centers is to be expected.

Position Requirements
2 years of experience in outpatient medical setting
Experience working with electronic medical records required
Familiarity working in primary care and behavioral health is highly recommended
Good interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
Adept at problem-solving
Flexibility and adaptability to change
Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently
