Integrity, Inspiration, Quality and Teamwork!<br><br><strong>Job Description</strong><br><br><strong>General Responsibility</strong><br><br>To commission, modify, troubleshoot, and support related equipment at customer locations or where needed, while ensuring that the highest quality of work is provided.<br><br><strong>Must be able to travel 80% of the time to project locations for extended periods.</strong><br><br><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Commissioning of automated controls for supplied or modified equipment in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Design and execute on site acceptance test procedures with Project Manager and customer</li><li>Create and/or review technical documentation for accuracy with Project Manager</li><li>Provide technical interface between customer and Project Manager in a professional manner</li><li>Remote technical support for customersas assigned in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Interpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and/or troubleshooting purposes</li><li>Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs</li><li>Handle, burn, and restore EPROM's and Ghost images</li><li>Interface with BEUMER IT team during commissioning and troubleshooting in a professional manner</li><li>Program and maintain Fanuc Robots and tools</li><li>Develop and maintain an effective professional relationship with customers and/or project personnel</li><li>Communicate commissioning/troubleshooting activities in a daily, weekly, or as requested format to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner</li><li><strong>Travel domestically and internationally 80% of the time</strong></li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><strong>Required Skills / Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent Electro/Mechanical skills</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to interpret circuit diagrams</li><li>Siemens S7, Ladder and STL programs, Allen Bradley (all lines)</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot</li><li>Remote software handling</li><li>Basic database functionality</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Heavy lifting/material handling skills</li><li>Professionalism</li><li>Excellent time management ability</li></ul><strong>Additional Information</strong><br><br>BEUMERis an innovative company, where every employee is part of the "family".
