This position is for a Group Lead (Manager) to manage the department in EUV Production Engineering (PE) responsible for the EXE Modules. Manager is expected to have an innovative attitude to work in Manufacturing Engineering, and the ability to manage engineers of varying disciplines and backgrounds. The position will have a direct connection to module output, as this group will serve as the backbone for process improvements and structural problem solving in EUV EXE.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Responsible for people management and career development activities including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance evaluation.

Develop and maintain department long-term financial plan, Target Annual Plan (TAP).

Drive business cases development and support project leads in Configuration Control Board meetings.

Represent and support Production Engineering teams in management-level progress reviews and cross-sector meetings.

Working with and supporting development engineers to converge on an overall design solution that addresses comprehensive production manufacturability with high level of diagnostics for troubleshooting.

Responsible for leading production engineering group developing and maintaining module manufacturing processes.

Responsible for leading production engineering group investigating technical issues both analytically using design documentation and physically with hands-on in a production environment.

Responsible for leading production engineering group supporting operations to deliver modules on time that meet high standards of quality.

Report production status, issues, gaps and barriers to Sr. Management. Timely escalate in case of issue that can’t be solved within the own circle of influence.

Drive cross-sector teams to achieve high standards of quality for both product and tooling.

Education and experience

BS in Engineering,

MS or MBA also desirable for this role.

You must have 7 years direct Management experience leading a team.

5 years leading a group or a major project, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both written and oral.

7 years of experience directly leading an engineering group.

5 years of experience developing manufacturing processes.

Experience in developing Manufacturing readiness plans to introduce new products into Production.

Experience in leading cross-sector teams to implement Manufacturing readiness plans for new product industrialization.

Experience in developing budgetary needs for capital equipment and headcount.

Experience in managing new product introduction and industrialization.

Background in manufacturing engineering is preferred.

Background in electromechanical equipment/interfaces is preferred.
