Wills Group is seeking a Dynamics 365 Administrator to join our team!  The Dynamics 365 Administrator works within the Information and Technology Department and reports to the Manager of Infrastructure and Operations. The I&T Department is a service department, responsible for the technology needs for The Wills Group, Inc., its subsidiaries and departments. The I&T Department provides computer hardware, software, network and communications support, as well as system development to optimize business processes or to enhance our product offerings.

The Dynamics 365 Administrator plays an integral role by maintaining and enhancing the ERP system for The Wills Group, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Supply Chain and Commerce. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment and will enjoy working directly with Product Managers and system users from across the organization to develop creative, efficient solutions to business challenges.

As a member of the I&T team, this position will be required to cross-train with other team members to attain a working knowledge of other positions within the department. As a service department there will be times when the incumbent will be required to support requests from users not directly related to Dynamics 365.

Key Accountabilities

  • Performs updates and deployment across all development, non-production, and production D365 environments
  • Manages vendor relationships to support third-party add-ons to D365
  • Creates and maintains a roadmap for Dynamics 365 and supporting tools such as Medius Pay, Sandler-Kahne e-Banking, Amicis Lifestyle, Visionet - PartnerLinQ, and Financial Reporter
  • Works with Product Managers to perform gap analysis of core Dynamics 365 functionality against business requirements
  • Converts business requirements into Functional and Technical Design Documents
  • Serves as the lead for system upgrades to Dynamics 365 and all supporting applications
  • Creates and maintains documentation for Dynamics 365 customizations and integrations
  • Maintains security roles and users in Dynamics 365 and related software
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the Dynamics 365 life cycle services and updates from all vendors
  • Reports out on business value created by using Dynamics 365 vs. total cost
  • Serves as an escalation point for help desk requests for Dynamics 365 and supporting applications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ months experience in full lifecycle experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, required ( Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, Commerce)
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft ERP (Dynamics AX 2012 R2)
  • Team centric attitude

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Life cycle management
  • Proficient in Azure resource management
  • Strong understanding of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Project modules; familiarity with Dynamics 365 Commerce a plus
  • Strong documentation skills to be used in creating functional and technical requirements documents
  • Strong communication skills to be used in communicating with non-technical business users
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 system administration including installation, patching, and upgrades
  • 5 years of working directly with Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and D365, in the areas of Finance and Operations/ Supply Chain/ Commerce
  • Experience with Medius Pay, Excel Add in, and Sandler-Kahne e-Banking, Lifestyle, PartnerLinQ software a plus
  • Experience with ASP.NET, C# programming a plus
