SUMMARY: If you are a curious and driven person, there's a place for you at Seaboard Foods to share new ideas, drive innovation and be a part of a dynamic team.Environmental resources technicians are responsible for the daily monitoring of lagoons and lagoon levels. They also assist in the maintenance of equipment associated with the lagoons such as sprinklers, pumps, and motors.

YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Monitoring lagoons and lagoon levels
  • Assisting coordinators in pumping procedures, including paperwork and scheduling
  • Setting up pumping equipment, including but not limited to moving pipe, setting up risers, setting up reel rains and motors
  • Sampling environmental soil, water and lagoon effluent
  • Solids separation and compost operation
  • Routine maintenance on company equipment
  • Troubleshooting on small motors

WE WANT SOMEONE WHO:

  • Is curious, driven and will question practices
  • Has extensive knowledge of sprinklers and troubleshooting of irrigation motors
  • Has a working knowledge of tractors, skid steers, and mowers
  • Is comfortable working in all outdoor weather conditions
