Azzur Lab is looking for The Environmental monitoring technician who performs EM sampling for clients and supports general Laboratory and administrative duties in the lab.
Essential Functions:
---Perform EM for multiple clients
---Receive and log in client samples
---Perform other required environmental testing services for clients, such as non-viable particle count monitoring, quality steam testing, compressed air, gas testing, etc.
---Perform laboratory and administrative duties as needed during office days.
Additional functions:
Help clients to understand aseptic technique and EM guidelines in regard to onsite monitoring and assist in building robust EM programs.
Undergo gowning certification and keep a neat and clean appearance at all times.
Required Education:
- High school degree
Required Work Experience:
- Proven experience as an environmental / laboratory technician.
- 1-year experience working in aseptic/controlled environments.
- Able to gown and work in a sterile environment for long periods of time
- Able to pass gowning qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
