Hospice Aide

Job Description
Assist hospice patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care and assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the supervision of the Team Coordinator or Primary Care Nurse. Provides personal care to promote the comfort and well being of the patient including bathing, oral hygiene; hair, nail and skin care, assistance with dressing etc. Provides general care of lifting, turning ambulating patient etc. Must take and record accurate vital signs. May prepare, serve and assist or feed the patients if necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is preferred. Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aid Certification is required. Minimum of 6 months experience is also required. Must maintain current CPR certification, valid driver's license and liability insurance.
