Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate (EMT-I)

Seeking a Full-time or Part-time EMT-I for immediate opportunities with a starting wage of $33.00 - $39.44 per hour based on experience. We offer a mandatory, paid break every shift and a zero-hold policy when clocking out. Plenty of overtime availability.

We're looking for dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical assistance requests and provide high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in line with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a state driver's license and EMT-Intermediate or NREMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT).
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
