JOB SUMMARY
Provides primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician in the clinic.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or
Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program.
Certification & Licensures:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri or
-Current Physician Assistant License by the State of Missouri
- BLS Certification
Experience
- At least three years of Endocrinology and Diabetes Management as a Nurse Practioner or Physician Assistant preferred.
- Diabetes management, glucose monitoring, insulin pump management, thyroid disorders
- Knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnosis, and treatment. Possesses skills necessary to perform safely as evidenced by state certification of licensure.
