Emergency Medical Services Paramedic
We are hiring passionate and dedicated Paramedics to join our team. If you have the necessary skills, experience, and credentials, we encourage you to apply, even if the location may not be a perfect fit for you. There could be opportunities at other locations as well.
Responsibilities:
- Assess call situations and determine the best course of action according to protocols
- Provide advanced medical care using various equipment and procedures
- Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance
- Act as a team leader when necessary and take responsibility for scene and unit management
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Compliance with company driving record policy
- Pass the Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
