Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Tech to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the emergency department staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting specimens
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with medical procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Monitor and restock supplies and equipment as needed
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program
- Current ID CNA License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year previous experience working in an emergency department or ambulance experience.
- Advanced EMT license,.
