Electrical Project Manager

Our client is in need of a contractor to lead Instrumentation, Controls and Automation. Although the customer has an electrical team in place, their focus is primarily on operational aspects rather than the initial phases of construction and qualification.<br><br>This individual will be responsible for instrumentation, controls and automation that is associated with the electrical components of the capital project. Knowledge of high tower generation is not necessary - more related to the instrumentation and controls. The customer is skilled in commissioning and leveraging the documentation on the qualification side, but lacks the expertise to understand how the parts come together to make the whole.<br><br><ul><li>Address wiring clarifications due to design deficiencies</li><li>Verify wiring installation methods</li><li>Oversee ethernet and fiber cable design and installation requirements</li><li>Perform electrical commissioning</li><li>Verify input and output of instrumentation controls and automation systems</li></ul><br>Additional information:<br><ul><li>6 Month contract - potential to be brought on full-time</li><li>Ability to expense travel</li><li>3 days a week onsite</li></ul>
