This full-time position as a Cardiology RN Float involves providing skilled nursing care to patients in various clinical settings, working under provider direction to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care. The role requires floating between Branford, Hamden, New Haven, and Guilford offices.
- Collaborate with providers to deliver office-based nursing care
- Assess patient needs and formulate nursing plans of care
- Communicate with providers regarding patient needs and nursing assessments
- Document patient assessments, medication responses, and progress
- Triage telephone calls and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut RN License required
- Cardiology and epic experience a plus
- Previous experience in Medical/Surgical Office setting preferred
- Experience with medical software
