Electrical System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and components in compliance with safety regulations and plant procedures.
Engineering Change (EC) Package Development: Develop detailed Engineering Change (EC) packages to propose modifications, upgrades, or replacements for electrical systems and components. This includes conducting feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and impact assessments to ensure safe and effective implementation.
Control System Analysis and Design: Analyze, design, and optimize electrical control systems used in various plant operations. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient control system functionality.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory requirements and ensure that electrical systems and designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Apply knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices to identify and address potential vulnerabilities in the plant's electrical systems. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement effective safeguards and countermeasures.
Job Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
XP in a nuclear power plant a must
Ability to write an Engineering Change (EC) package, knowledge of control systems, some cyber experience a plus
PE is not required
