SUMMARY:

  • Schedule: 7:18am - 2:48pm; 7 paid hours/day
    • Work on all student days during the academic calendar year
  • Location: Boyertown Senior High School
  • The pay rate for Study Hall / School Monitor is $15 per hour
  • PTO: Employees who work 6.5 or more hours per day for a full 5-day work week are eligible for 8 PTO days (prorated based on hire date)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide monitoring over various environments (such as study hall, cafeteria, hallways, etc).
  • Utilize spreadsheets and school software for multiple attendance reports daily.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior so that all students may benefit from the activity.
  • Organize and involve pupils in appropriate activities.
  • Provide a written report of any dangerous or hazardous conditions according to school procedures.
  • Report student misbehavior, according to building procedures, to the appropriate person.
  • Demonstrate proper use of equipment involved.
  • Oversee pupils' entrance and exit from the supervised area.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel - preferred
CREDENTIALS:
(Clearances current within 12 months)
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI - Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
