Electrical Engineer

Bethel, MN Area | Direct-hire | $80k - $110k | On-site 100%

Konik is working with a manufacturing client in the North Metro to help identify an Electrical Engineer to join their team. The Electrical Engineer in this role will be focused on the design and development of circuit boards, equipment systems, and a variety of products.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing moderately complex electronic circuits, equipment, systems, and products.
  • Provide support to existing programs and operate more independently on tasks/programs as skills develop.
  • Develop production and test procedures to ensure that quality products are delivered to our customers.
  • Use technical writing skills to construct in-house and outside user manuals, specifications, and other technical literature pertaining to our product line.
  • Proficiently use troubleshooting and general EE tools (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, schematic design and PCB layout programs, etc.)
  • May perform as a technical leader or Project Engineer for small projects or sub projects as part of a greater project, following established procedures.
  • Source and analyze appropriate components to meet electrical engineering design needs.
  • Find technical root cause and suggest corrective action for given problems.
  • Work with the factory team to understand design impacts on manufacturability.

Electrical Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience, preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability with electrical engineering tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design impacts on manufacturability.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of embedded programming.
