What Will I be Doing?

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for supervising the daily aspects in operating the kitchen. This includes onboarding, supervising, and developing team members in the department, managing food inventory, food production and quality of dishes. Responsible for kitchen and food sanitation, health code compliance, brand standards along with a safe working environment. Held accountable to budgeting, forecasting, and costs controls for the kitchen.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Responsible for supervising daily operation of kitchen, including training, and supervising all kitchen staff.
  • Managing employee schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Accountable for budgeting, forecasting and cost controlling all aspects of the kitchen operation
  • Leading all aspects of food production, ensuring that dishes are prepared according to recipes and meet quality standards.
  • Assists in menu development and recipe testing.
  • Conducting regular quality checks to ensure that food is cooked and presented properly.
  • Addressing any food quality issues promptly.
  • Managing kitchen inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing supplies.
  • Monitoring food costs and implementing strategies to minimize waste.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and health codes.
  • Implementing and maintaining food safety procedures.
  • Supervising daily kitchen operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

  • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

  • Technology: Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and technology, such as POS systems and inventory management software
