Job Overview
The Manager of Accounts Receivable leads the Accounts Receivable team, focusing on Payments, Collections, and Research. This role involves team development, process improvement, and policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management: Oversee daily functions to ensure timely, accurate task completion within SLAs. Manage payments, adjustments, and prioritize work.
Performance Tracking: Maintain metrics on SLAs and transaction processing; identify process improvement opportunities.
Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues; manage inquiries and escalations from other departments.
Personnel Management: Handle hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations; provide coaching and leadership.
Training and Compliance: Deliver training on policies and regulations; document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related accounting experience.
Experience: 3-5+ years in accounts receivable with supervisory experience.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; bilingual in English and Spanish.
Professional Conduct: High standards of ethics and behavior.
