Our Headquarters is in Lithia, Florida with operations throughout North America (U.S./Canada) and South America.</p><p></p><p><b>At Mosaic We Help the World Grow the Food it Needs - Apply today and join our team!</b></p><p></p><p><b>Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation Technician (EIA)</b></p><p></p><p><b>Schedule:</b> A typical work scheduled is Monday through Thursday from 6AM - 4PM </p><p></p><p><b>Where will you work</b>: Onsite at our Uncle Sam facility located at 7250 Highway 44 | Uncle Sam, LA 70792 </p><p></p><p>As an Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation (EIA) technician, your role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and automation equipment throughout the plant or mine. You'll work with everything from lighting to motors, following safety standards and collaborating with the team. Additionally, you'll be inputting work requests into our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will thrive in this role if you are detail oriented with the ability to work in an outdoor industrial work environment with exposure to varying temperatures from below 32 degrees to above 85 degrees Fahrenheit.</p><p></p><ul><li><p><b>Maintain and Repair</b>: Use hand tools and testers to maintain and repair motors, starters, drives, low-to-medium-to-high voltage systems, and instrumentation throughout the entire plant. Common voltages include 480 volts and 4,160 volts.</p></li><li><p><b>Troubleshoot and Calibrate</b>: Visually troubleshoot and use varied testing equipment to assess all EIA systems across the Plant or Mine. Adjust hardware to maintain the interface between automation and operations as needed.</p></li><li><p><b>Work Orders and Emergencies</b>: Handle regular work orders and respond to emergencies throughout the Plant or Mine. Maintain cleanliness in work areas.</p></li><li><p><b>Equipment Maintenance</b>: Perform maintenance on equipment that monitors flow, temperature, density, and pressure.</p></li><li><p><b>Effective Communication</b>: Daily communication with area supervisors to prioritize and delegate tasks. Share findings with management.</p></li><li><p><b>CMMS Utilization</b>: Follow verbal or written instructions from supervision and management.
