The Multi-Unit Manager for Hellcat Subs LLC DBA Jersey Mike's Subs oversees several restaurants, working with individual store managers to set performance goals. The district manager is responsible for all aspects of the operation of their restaurants, including HR, marketing, and ensuring the financials are ran to the budget. The district manager attends bi-weekly meetings, works with the Director of Finance, the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Training, and the managing partner to ensure the restaurants are operating properly. The DM candidate will need to successfully run one restaurant for a minimum of 6 months and meet criteria to be discussed in an interview before being assigned a district.

Position summary:

The Multi-Unit Manager coordinates and supports all activities within the assigned geographic area. Trains, coaches and supports managers. Plans and sets business goals. Focuses on in-store issues. District Managers work 50 hours per week and must have open availability.

Salary & Benefits :

$65000 - $70000

2 weeks of paid vacation annually

5 paid sick days annually

$300 a month in gas reimbursement

Quarterly Bonus with up to $750 per store you operate each quarter, up to $15,000.00 annually in bonus

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

Coaches and trains shift managers, assistant managers, and managers on operational excellence. Helps to develop new hire orientation programs and rewards programs, monitors training processes to ensure quality training of employees. Develops and maintains staffing levels for managers and assistant managers. Implements management training.


Provides leadership to managers and staff in the geographic area to ensure compliance with standards as set in the Hellcat Subs LLC DBA Jersey Mike's Subs and applicable government regulations.


Ensures that correct operational procedures are followed and takes corrective action if necessary.
Works with staff to achieve sales goals, using available reports to identify opportunities.
Supports local and national marketing initiatives.

Prerequisites:

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.

Experience & skills:  3-5 years of successful, operational management experience in a restaurant environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Basic math and accounting skills and strong analytical/decision making skills are needed; demonstrated achievement in staff selection, coaching and development. Must have minimally 1-2 years of multi-unit experience.

Physical:  Must be physically able to work any station in the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale System/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
