Masis Professional Group is hiring for direct hire opportunities. We are assisting our client in searching for a Director of Manufacturing.<br><br><strong>Job Requirement</strong>:<br><ul><li>Work closely with Executive Leadership to understand, develop and execute on manufacturing plans, goals and future product and process innovations.</li><li>Develop a solid manufacturing foundation and structure to ensure all operating strategies, business plans, performance objectives and key initiatives are successfully pursued and achieved.</li><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies, with strong cross-functional focus to assure business unity of direction.</li><li>Coordinate engineering, facilities and other functional support to deliver production targets, on time and at cost.</li><li>Provide dependable, effective leadership, support and direction to the manufacturing organization to achieve the vision of an organization dedicated to quality, effective process definition, customer service, innovation and flexibility.</li><li>Establish trusting and productive working relationship with senior leadership and all operating disciplines across the business to promote open lines of communication, team, synergies, best practices, and effective processes all aligned with the company.</li><li>Establish and foster a positive work environment that is efficient and reflects teamwork, collaboration, integrity, proactive problem solving, continuous improvement and open communications.</li><li>Oversee the employee evaluation process and assure maximum effectivity in terms of performance management, employee development and career advancement, all in support of employee and overall business success and elevation.</li><li>Serve as a mentor for identified key talent within the organization, and promote a culture where all employees are encouraged to reach their full potential by providing employees with mentorship opportunities, effective coaching and performance feedback, and technical and leadership talent development.</li><li>Work across relevant business units to support and achieve a strong, viable Succession Plan for Manufacturing.</li></ul><br><strong>Education and Experience:</strong><br><ul><li>BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience.</li><li>MA/MS degree with 7+ years of experience.</li><li>PhD degree with 4+ years of experience Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business or Management degree preferred.</li></ul><br><strong>Experience</strong><br><ul><li>Skilled in use of continuous improvement tools (LEAN, TPM, etc.) and root cause/corrective active tools and techniques.</li><li>Manufacturing success factors, financial controls, and customer focus.</li><li>Capital and strategic planning. </li><li>Strong data systems knowledge and usage.</li><li>Effective team leadership.</li><li>Communications and organizational skills.</li><li>Problem solving acumen.</li><li>Leading factories with 250+ employees.</li><li>Dealing with adjusting to multiple concurrent demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity and general moment-to-moment change.</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and change control methods and processes.</li></ul><br>Please submit your resume to be considered for this opportunity.
