<strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li>5-7 years of experience</li><li>Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or Finance)</li></ul><br> Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED<br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li>Advanced knowledge of employee compensation and benefit programs, and 3-5 years of prior management experience. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Articulate and present complex insurance benefits information and compensation information in an easy-to-understand orderly manner, both verbally and in writing. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act (COBRA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and other benefits regulations. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analytical purposes, along with the demonstrated proficiency in other business-related software applications and online processes. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Experience with writing, editing and maintaining benefits Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, and vendor agreements. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Online enrollment experience.</li></ul><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li>Direct and oversee all Compensation and Benefits Department activities, programs and special projects in compliance with Federal Regulations and Company guidelines.</li><li>Develop strategic direction of the company's compensation and benefit plans and recommend new programs or changes to existing programs to meet Company objectives.</li><li>Maintain policies and procedures related to the administration of the various compensation and benefits programs.</li><li>Direct compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, and analysis and ensure compensation policy is aligned with the Mercer methodology. </li><li>Develop and maintain partnerships with outside vendors that assist in the development and administration of the compensation and benefits programs.</li><li>Lead and oversee all benefit and compensation communication efforts for new, current and prospective employees.</li><li>Monitor communication effectiveness and develop new programs or alternate methods to improve employee understanding and participation.</li><li>Work with internal and external resources to develop and administer effective communication efforts and educational programs for employee benefits programs and compensation initiatives.</li></ul><br><strong>Work Authorization:</strong><br><br><ul><li>We will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
