<b>The Role: </b> <br> <br>ModernaTX, Inc. seeks a Director, Global Combination Product Quality Lead for its Norwood, Massachusetts location.<br> <br> <b>Here's What You'll Do: </b> <br> <ul> <li>Develop and deploy policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), standard reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management of combination product and medical device feasibility, design controls, risk management, human factors and usability engineering, process development, and verification and validation testing.<br></li> <li>Lead Quality review and approval of all technical documentation for design and development of technical and risk management documentation including planning, traceability matrix, protocols and reports, and risk assessments.<br></li> <li>Partner with Technical Development and Regulatory teams to develop and support global product submissions for Combination products.<br></li> <li>Act as global Quality representative in cross-functional forums to provide support and oversight to internal and external manufacturing and testing facilities for application of the device and combination product Global Quality Management System, policies, SOPs and Standards throughout the lifecycle of products.<br></li> <li>Coordinate deployment and application of design controls supporting risk-based continued process verification and monitoring of lifecycle product quality.<br></li> <li>Provide quality support for significant changes and issue management, such as change controls, deviations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) across company internal and external manufacturing and testing sites.<br></li> <li>Collaborate with Quality System business process owners to contribute to Global Quality Management System improvement and harmonization initiatives across Global Quality Operations.<br></li> <li>Support leadership with Combo Device compliance direction when strategizing, budgeting, and planning for expansion.<br></li> <li>Support resource planning for all operations under the Quality Management Systems (QMS) for compliance,<br></li> <li>Device development, and Device sustaining.<br></li> <li>Manage activities of direct and indirect reports (two Quality Engineers) in achieving defined quality goals in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.<br></li> <li>May telecommute up to four (4) days per week.<br></li></ul> <br> <b>Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Minimum requirements: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (Any), Engineering Management, or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Quality Engineer or related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in fields specified and five (5) years of progressive experience as a Quality Engineer or related role.
