Russian River Brewing Company is hiring a Digital Marketing and Events Specialist to join our team! We are seeking a candidate who embodies enthusiasm, creativity, meticulous attention to detail, active community involvement, and a profound love for Craft Beer! SUMMARY This role primarily responsible for assisting the brewery owners and other managers with all things digital marketing, creative content development, internal and external communications, media, coordinating and working onsite and offsite events and more! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Monitor social media accounts by answering all DMs daily, liking and responding to comments/questions on Facebook, Instagram, X, Untappd, and other media platforms while ensuring content is legal and appropriate Regularly analyze social media account data and provide valuable insights to management monthlyCollaborate with the Owner in creating a social media schedule and contentCreate print and digital advertising as directedAssist in creating POS for the sales team and events, updating and maintaining the Beer Bible, creating and editing logos, and other creative assets as neededMonitor, share with management, and respond, as appropriate, to all Google, Yelp and other online reviewsEnsure that our company information including hours of operation is accurate on all online platforms (Google, Yelp, etc.)Monitor social media and the web for unauthorized use of RRBC products, images, and intellectual propertyMonitor, analyze, and share information compiled from websites like Untappd, Beer Advocate, Reddit, etc.Ensure that the company website is always accurate with hours of operation, current beer descriptions and availability, tour schedule, private event inquiries, etc.Update the list of on/off-premise accounts that sell our beer throughout California and out-of-stateRespond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner, schedule interviews/photo shoots as needed for the brewery ownersAssist with media outreach including sending beer samples for reviews/articlesRespond in a timely and professional manner to general customer service, media, donations, and private inquiries via email, DMs, and phone messages; forward to the appropriate manager/departmentRespond to, coordinate, and manage donation requestsCoordinate and represent at the Company at off-site events such as beer festivals or other non-profit events including setting up and breaking down all brewery-owned equipmentRespond to on-site event/private party inquiriesEffectively plan, manage, and handle the various aspects, budget, and logistics associated with hosting successful on-site events and private parties Keep the events calendar up-to-date and share it with both team members and managementAll other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no regular direct reports but supervises employees scheduled to work at special events KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES A comprehensive understanding of Alcohol Beverage regulations, as they relate to alcohol marketing, advertising, and service, is essential.
