Summary: RN Residency is open for nursing students that are graduating in Summer 2024 and Winter 2024 The nurse residency program at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital offers a dynamic and engaging experience that will positively impact the nurse’s ability to provide quality, compassionate care to patients as the new nurse transitions from student nurse to professional nurse.Quality health care begins with developing our caregivers. The graduate residency program facilitates the transition of new nurses to professional practice with orientation that combines classroom lectures, hands-on activities, clinical scenarios including simulation and support of a highly-skilled education team.
