Dialysis Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing Facilities

This position is for our Skilled Nursing Facilities where we operate small dialysis clinics for patients receiving post-acute and long-term care. We are expanding our program and seeking to add staff to our team. This role involves working 3 days a week with 12+ hour shifts, generally Monday to Saturday with occasional Saturdays. No on-call responsibilities. A minimum of 12 months of nursing experience is required, and experience in dialysis is required for some locations, but training is available. Locations we are adding staff to include Hancock Park Rehabilitation & SNF, North End Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, The Brentwood Rehabilitation, Sherrill House, Blaire House of Tewksbury, and Blaire House of Milford.

DaVita Kidney Care is launching the DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services team to provide industry-leading clinical quality on-site at skilled nursing facilities. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by eliminating the burden of transporting patients to dialysis centers. Responsibilities include ongoing patient care and education, direct patient care, and critical thinking to deliver optimal dialysis care. Requirements:

  • Previous experience in chronic hemodialysis, acute dialysis, or peritoneal dialysis nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 12 months of RN experience
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in training/teaching/healthcare education
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN)
