Job Description
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform radiologic procedures
- Position patients and prepare contrast medias for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Select exposure factors and follow established protocols for diagnostic radiography studies
- Practice radiation safety and adhere to regulatory standards
- Accurately input procedural data and annotate images in PACS
- Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students
- Participate in projects and meetings to maintain best practice standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Tech program preferred
- Current CT Radiographer License required
- Demonstrates competencies to meet age-specific patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works effectively as a team member
- CPR validation within 3 months of hire
- Maintain continuing education credits
