Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Immediate Care

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Immediate Care. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic procedures on designated parts of the body to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Your role will focus on ensuring patient safety, providing high-quality care, and maintaining professionalism at all times.

  • Perform radiographic procedures according to established policies, procedures, standards, and protocols
  • Determine appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient's condition
  • Secure patient history regarding prescribed tests and document for review
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain all documents required for successful accreditation of general x-ray
  • Maintain integrity of supplies and equipment in the department and perform daily quality control
  • Practice radiation protection and safety in conjunction with industry standards
  • Obtain and document patient history and vital signs as needed
  • Perform laboratory functions and record lab results
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize medical equipment appropriately
  • Clean, stock, and prepare rooms and maintain inventory of medical supplies
  • Perform clerical duties and attend department meetings and educational opportunities
  • Collaborate with others to individualize the orientation plan for new departmental employees if applicable
