Job Description

Sr. Project Manager will be assigned to accounts that are considered complex in nature. Responsibilities include: Finalizing customer scope document; Creating a risk assessment; Completing gap analysis, Engaging business owners/stakeholders as needed; Creating and maintaining the project plan and all daily project activities; Coordinating interrelated operational tasks required to support the proposed solution; Tracking issues; Monitoring milestones communicating progress, and escalating issues until the project is live and transitioned to the sales team to maintain. Sr Project Manager will handle special projects as assigned by management and serve as a mentor to Project Manager team members.
Responsibilities:

  • Create a standardized project plan for each customer implementation (the majority of projects may be of complex/ultra-complex nature).
  • Validate the plan's scope and associated time and resource estimates with supporting business owners, sales, and the customer.
  • Manage activity specified in the plan and monitor progress toward each milestone. Identify risk factors and contingency plans, communicate project status and critical risk factors to management and other stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary to adjust the project scope, resources, or timeline as needed.
  • Manage communication among stakeholders utilizing available tools to ensure that all parties are aware of the project's progress, risk factors, and required actions.
  • Participate and lead team mentoring initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert, and share knowledge and lessons learned with assigned associate(s).
  • Using information from the client, sales, operations, and IT document the project's scope, specific requirements, operational processes, product mix, system configuration, and service offering to be implemented.
  • Develop and follow an appropriate transition plan to move the project from integration to ongoing support.
  • Document lessons learned and incorporate findings into future projects.
  • Work on special projects as needed as assigned by the senior leadership group.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in discipline related to function of work with 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Formal Project Management, business process, and target IT systems.
  • Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at the level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity.
  • May require knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments. Able to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments.
  • Requires very good communication skills with the ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
  • Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.

Additional Information

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $62,800 - 111,400/year. In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include [a sign-on bonus of $2,000], overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
