The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care for individuals undergoing endoscopy procedures, including prep, intra-procedure monitoring, and recovery. This role involves administering moderate sedation under the direction of a physician and collaborating with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care. The Endoscopy RN also fulfills all departmental competencies and takes responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and correcting hazards.
