CT Imaging Technologist

The CT Imaging Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining imaging equipment and workplace environment.

• Acquires and processes patient exams in accordance with guidelines and protocols
• Administers contrast material and recognizes and responds to adverse reactions
• Ensures patient, visitor, and environmental safety
• Assists in the instruction of students and new staff
• Meets productivity levels and may perform duties of other modalities within the department
• Reviews radiology orders for completeness and accuracy
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards and transfers image data for interpretation
• Maintains imaging equipment and workplace environment
