**Description**
We are seeking a Restaurant Supervisor. Assists in overseeing all aspects of dining service operation and sanitation to ensure that staff provide a pleasurable dining experiences to their customers and ensure compliance with MLW policies, procedures and related federal , state and local regulations in our Life Care Venue.
**Shift Hours:** Open 7am-3pm Mid-Shift 10:30am - 6:30pm (mostly weekends) Close 12:30pm - 8:30pm - This role primarily opens and rotates and will occasionally have closing shifts as needed
**Requirements:**
High school diploma or equivalent; progressive experience in an upscale dining and/or Life Plan community; ability to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity to individuals residing in a care venue; able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and make independent decisions as needed; proficient in Windows applications including Excel, Word and Outlook as well as POS software applications. Knowledgeable in job related federal, state, and local regulations to ensure safe and clean dining environment plus certification in food safety/sanitation and BASSET.
**Preferred:** College degree in culinary or hospitality management;
**Responsibilities include but not limited to:**
Collaborate with Life Centre Culinary Manager in the timely selection , orientation, scheduling and on-going training and performance management of dining staff. Supervises flow of Guest into the dining venues during hours of operation to provide a positive dining experience. Address and responds to resident's comments and concerns. Maintains timely and professional communication with inter and intra departmental teams. Inspect work areas to ensure completion of assigned task and regulatory compliance.
