Data Scientist 1

Duties: Responsible for the delivery of multiple medium to large-size data analysis projects. Develops resolutions to complex problems creatively and collaboratively. Participate in analytics teams on automated techniques to gather data. Conduct statistical and predictive analyses in addition to providing input to strategy related projects.• Present finding and recommendation to customers and internal management teams. Mentor junior team members. Telecommuting is permitted. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business or related field plus any amount of experience gained through any prior employment, internship, or collegelevel coursework. Requires any amount of experience performing predictive analytics and modeling with machine learning models and other advanced analytics methodologies (including but not limited to,randomForest, regression, decision tree, clustering, support vector machine, etc.). Requires any amount of experience with end to end analysis on large, enterprise level data repositories, from assessment, designing, and execution to quality control. Requires any amount of experience providing recommendations based on analysis results to enable the client and project stakeholders with data and information-based decision making,and optimizing business strategy. Requires any amount of experience translating client business questions into proposed analysis and execution plans, seeking input from colleagues where appropriate, and acquiring client commitment prior to execution. Requires any amount of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (customers, consulting, sales force, and IT infrastructure teams, etc.) to understand business needs, scopesand constraints. Requires any amount of experience assessing and ensuring analysis feasibility and data integrity, continuously seeking to improve delivery workflow efficiency. Requires any amount of experience working with various types of healthcare and pharma analytics data based on project and study needs, including but not limited to prescriptions data,medical and hospital claims, specialty pharmacy data, copay and redemptions, and non-retail data. Requires any amount of experience in relational databases, scripting languages, and statistical computing applications, such as R, Python, Hadoop, SAS and Oracle.
