AI Software Development Engineer at Intel in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description CGAI (Client Graphics and AI Group) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU and AI Accelerator intellectual property IP blocks and its software solution. As an AI Software Development Engineer, you will work with a team of highly talented software and hardware engineers and architects to solve complex problems and come up with innovative solutions. We are looking for new colleagues who want to work in the AI field and work on multiple levels of the AI software stack. We design, develop, and validate from the lower levels of device firmware, up through the driver layer, operating systems, applications, test environments, and target environments. We collaborate with multiple teams across intel and work with customers to deliver best-in-class products. As a successful candidate you must possess Excellent communication skills working with multiple stakeholders including external customers/OEMs for product enabling. Good problem-solving skills and debug capabilities Qualifications Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, machine learning, applied stats or any STEM related degree and experience and proficiency should be related to software development. 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Experience working in low level software, Firmware Development, Windows Device Driver Architecture, Development or Validation. Experience in understanding relevant hardware specifications and applying that knowledge to Design/develop/debug/validate driver software. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in HW/SW driver interactions. Experience in C / C++ software and Python Preferred Qualifications: (good to have) Experience in AI Technology, Scheduling, Power Management, Memory Management. Experience with understanding Micro/Power Controller and developing firmware for it. Experience with CPU and GPU Power and performance optimization, tradeoff and characterization of various GPU and CPU workloads. Experience with DirectX (11/12) or both Experience with Windows debugging tools and analyzers.
