<strong>Data Migration Consultant </strong><br><br>We are seeking a skilled and experienced <strong>Data Migration Consultant</strong> for an upcoming SAP S4 HANA project implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP implementation projects and specifically on data migration planning, data management principals, strong project management competencies (management and execution)and are crucial to the success of this role. The ability to influence without authorities as this roles is a highly collaborative engaging roles with all levels both locally and globally.<br><br>This role will be responsible for driving the methodology for data migration execution. The consultant will coordinate with data migration object owner(s) and IT expert(s) the organization of data migration activities (data profiling, mapping and validation...) and necessary deliverables, supporting on defects analysis and on time closure, provide visibility on planning, anticipate and report any risk related data migration/propagation to DTM lead and project stakeholders.<br><br><strong>This is a full-time role located on site in Clark, NJ</strong>; remote work may be considered on an exception basis. Preferred East Coast homebase. Travel will be required for specific phases of the project, including travel internationally, work via and passport will be required.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><br>1. Understand and follow up on the data migration methodology, the current Data Migration Global playbook, overall knowledge and experience of data migration strategy and sequence as well as data migration tools (ETL).<br><br>2. Collaborate with the Data Migration lead:<br><br>a. Learn and understand the data methodology and the official Global Data playbook, understand all deliverables and build/maintain a work plan to support the activities and timeline to build to the key milestones.<br><br>b. Use the Tracking and reporting data migration/propagation execution progress reports to monitor your area of responsibilities, communicate roadblocks quickly and document mitigation plan to core and local team.<br><br>c. Anticipating and providing visibility on planning, milestones and issues/risks related to data migration/propagation execution.<br><br>3. Actively assist data migration object owner and IT Expert on the execution of data migration relating activity, from data object scoping, data migration mapping design. This may involve coaching on best practices to cleanse and propagate data.<br><br>4. Act as the liaison with the core team expertise to solve / clarify any questions, obtain additional support on the activities to be performed by the local team if needed.<br><br>5. Track and follow up on defects analysis and on time resolution and closure.<br><br>6. Support data migration team to ensure the completion of data migration tasks and compliance of Internal Control audit requirements.<br><br>7. Assess lessons learned and document Return on Experience on data migration/propagation.<br><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br><br>1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.<br><br>2. At least 8+years' experience with SAP and large project implementations.<br><br>3. 4+ full life cycle SAP implementations of data migration projects<br><br>4. 3 years' experience as a Data migration consultant - supporting data migration process delivery.<br><br>5. Experience with Material, Customer, and Vendor Master, Transactional Data conversions.<br><br>6. Strong understanding of Data Migration Methodology (ETL) including profiling, cleansing, and validation activities<br><br>7. Experience with using various data migration tools and solutions that apply to SAP data migration implementations (Syniti, BODS, MDG, etc.)<br><br>8. Excellent communication both verbal and written to all levels and stakeholder management skills.<br><br>9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multicultural teams, on a global project with flexibility for work hours to support global meetings.<br><br>10. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.<br><br>11. Preferred experience in agile project management and project leadership.<br><br>12. Strong business process acumen for retail, supply chain, manufacturing and D2C business models<br><br><strong>Additional Skills:</strong><br>&bull; Expert Microsoft Office, and general PC knowledge.<br>&bull; Service Now experience.<br>&bull; Power BI reporting and navigating.<br>&bull; Must have Expert level MS Excel, ability to perform VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, produce executive summaries based on analysis of data to be able to tell the story in a concise manner of what the data is telling or the trends are showing.<br>&bull; Strong Power Point skills, including the ability to present to leadership.<br>&bull; ETL tools experience (informatica, Syniti...).<br>&bull; Internal travel is limited, yet possible, please share work travel restrictions/visa<br><br><strong>Requirements:</strong><br>&bull; Virtual meetings such as MS Team meetings are on-camera.<br>&bull; All meetings must have meeting agenda/goals/decisions listed and meeting recaps to be issued within 24 hours of all meetings including actions, owners, and deadlines.<br>&bull; Fluent in English and local language ( Spoken + written ). French is very helpful.<br>&bull; Ability to travel internationally, (France)at key milestones.
