**Job Summary**

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will support our client with various ITSM systems and processes and work with stakeholders.

**Job Description**

We are seeking a **Senior Business Systems Analyst** to serve as a member of the IT Service Management Strategy and Operations team providing support for various ITSM systems, processes, and business stakeholders. This is a **full-time** , **remote** , and long-term contract.

**What Youll Do**

+ Work with ITSM stakeholders (business teams and IT) to gather, document, and analyze business requirements across enterprise systems

+ Perform detailed data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and insights that can be used to continuously improve processes and systems

+ Document and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, system functionality, and workflows

+ Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet complex business needs

+ Assist with system testing and ensure enhancements of systems and integrations run accurately and efficiently according to business requirements

+ Perform process analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis to clarify and address business needs and challenges

+ Document and maintain business system documentation and records

+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of process documentation and training materials

+ Serve as a liaison between the business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs and technical solutions

**What Youll Need**

Required:

+ Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field advanced degrees or certifications in business analysis are a plus

+ Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to think critically and solve complex problems

+ Proficiency in data analysis tools, process documentation, and project management software and methods

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders

+ Proven ability to lead and organize cross-functional teams

+ Team player, solid work ethic, flexible, able to change directions quickly

+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:

+ Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration and administration

+ Experience working with regulatory compliance requirements (SOX and NERC CIP)

+ Understanding of ITSM applications and processes

**Physical Demands**

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
