<b>Location: </b> Sparta, MI<br> <b>Description: </b> <br>Sparta M.I. (Direct Hire) <br> <br>Our client is currently seeking a CONTROLS ENGINEER<br> <br>The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to:<br> <br>&bull;Following health, safety, environmental regulations, and safety protocols (safety harnesses, fork truck, scissor lift, boom lifts, LOTO) <br> <br>&bull;Building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team members<br> <br>&bull;Communicating across cross-functional groups <br> <br>&bull;Being responsible for projects from technical specification to startup support <br> <br>&bull;Designing and developing all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and programming using Lear standards and build upon with innovative ideas <br> <br>&bull;Writing, implementing, and debugging PLC software <br> <br>&bull;Providing support to existing Lear automated equipment globally <br> <br>&bull;Developing predictive maintenance indicators to increase reliability and reduce downtime - (CBM, Industry 4.0)<br> <br>&bull;Developing contingency and disaster recovery plans <br> <br>Your Qualifications: <br> <br>&bull;Bachelor&apos;s Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering <br> <br>&bull;Three years&apos; experience in a controls engineering role at an automation/machine build shop. <br> <br>&bull;Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others, and have a positive attitude <br> <br>&bull;Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy <br> <br>&bull;Expert in RSLogix5000, Studio5000, and FactoryTalk View Studio <br> <br>&bull;Knowledgeable of I/O link, AB components, drive control, Keyence cameras <br> <br>&bull;Ability to read and create electrical drawings in AutoCAD <br> <br>&bull;Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines <br> <br>&bull;Understand and communicate applicable safety standards: general industry, machine guarding, robot safety, automated vehicles, conveyor safety <br> <br>&bull;Self-driven and willingness to work long hours during installations, if required <br> <br>&bull;Willingness to travel globally - up to 30-35%<br> <br>Please send qualified resumes to: CWright01@judge.com<br> <br> <b>Contact:</b> cwright01@judge.com<br> <br>This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
