You'll work closely with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and lead a talented team of financial professionals, including our Assistant Controller and Accountant.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* *Financial Leadership:* Attend leadership meetings and provide insightful financial statements and reports that guide the company's financial strategy.
* *Operations Management:* Oversee all financial functions, including payroll, billing, bookkeeping, purchasing, and tax payments, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
* *Budget Monitoring:* Regularly review profit and loss statements, keeping a close eye on expenses to make sure we stay on budget.
* *Communication Champion:* Promote effective communication within the organization regarding all things finance.
* *Policy & Compliance:* Develop, review, and recommend changes to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
* *Support for Sister Companies:* Assist with financial operations and provide support as needed for our sister companies, MedSupply and Hoveround.
* *Continuous Improvement:* Participate in surveys and audits, contribute to performance improvement programs, and stay up-to-date with continuing education relevant to your role.
