Du-All Cleaning, Inc. is now hiring professional Commercial Janitorial cleaners for new contract in Madison Heights. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and possess 2 years of verifiable commercial cleaning experience with positive references. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates with municipal cleaning experience are strongly preferred.
Job Description includes, but is not limited to:
Perform Cleaning and disinfecting tasks at all assigned locations, including (but not limited to) Private Offices, City Offices, Court Rooms, DPW, Public Lobbies, Elevators, Stairwells, Open Office Space, Emergency Services Office Space, Police Department, Community Center, Library and other assigned locations.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Restrooms: Clean all Public and Private Restrooms and Restroom Fixtures
Floorcare: Sweeping, Dust Mopping, Vacuuming, Mopping, Utilize Floor Machine when appropriate
Office Spaces: Clean and Disinfect all Work Spaces, Break Rooms, Meeting Spaces
Public Spaces: Lobbies, Elevators, Public Restrooms, Entrances
Clinics: Clean and Disinfect Medical office and Clinic Space and Lobby
Jail Cells: Clean and Disinfect Holding Cells & General Work Spaces as Directed
Duties Also Include: High and Low Dusting, Empty Trash Receptacles into Dumpsters, Clean Interior Glass/Windows, Utilize and Maintain Task Lists and Communication Logs
This is a physically demanding position that will require the ability to:
Lift, push and pull up to 50lbs without assistance
Fill and empty mop buckets utilizing a slop sink
Mix Cleaning Chemicals as described
Push/Pull Commercial Vacuum
Candidates must be able to bend, reach as normally associated with commercial cleaning tasks
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbal and written
Candidates must have knowledge of and experience using both written task lists and tablet based task lists
Knowledge of computer and/or cloud based applications pertaining to payroll and timekeeping
