This is a PRN (as-needed) position that offers flexibility and a competitive pay rate of $13-$15 per hour, with various day and night shifts available to suit your schedule.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a CNA or caregiver with About You In Home Care, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and overall well-being of our young clients. Your key responsibilities will include:Daily Care: Assisting children with essential daily living activities such as personal hygiene, feeding, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and safety.Companionship: Providing emotional support, comfort, and companionship to foster a nurturing and supportive environment for the children in your care.Collaboration: Working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each child's unique needs.Observation and Reporting: Diligently monitoring the health, behavior, and progress of the children, and promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team for timely intervention.Safety and Well-being: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment by adhering to all safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care.Requirements and SkillsTo excel in this rewarding role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:Education: High School diploma or GED is required.Certification: State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification is preferred, with current CPR certification being essential.Skills: Basic computer literacy is necessary for record-keeping and communication. Strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities are also crucial.Communication: Excellent oral communication skills are required to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, clients, and their families.Composure: The ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in high-pressure, fast-paced situations is critical for success in this role.Compensation and BenefitsWe recognize the dedication and expertise of our caregivers, and we offer competitive compensation to reflect that.
