Job Summary:

The Clinical Intern position at Ellie Mental Health is designed for Master’s level interns to provide therapy services in an outpatient setting. You'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be pursuing a Master’s degree in social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy

Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients

Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant), including collection of co-payments.

Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture

Responsibilities include:

Provide therapy in an outpatient setting, facilitate diagnostic assessments, create/implement treatment, complete clinical documentation (progress notes, discharge summaries, etc.)

Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community

Participate in shadowing therapy sessions and diagnostic assessments

Participate in meetings with the Intern Coordinator

Remain in good standing with your graduate program’s standards and maintain active enrollment in your internship’s supervision course

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Length of Internship: 9 months

Provide 10 therapy hours per week
