Lead an agile team of analysts and engineers to create sustainable data solutions to report on risk and performance indicators, increase efficiency, reduce risk and/or create a center of excellence environment in the Cyber industry. Manage the successful completion of the organization’s data process and reporting projects, identify and escalate risks to stakeholders, and ensure adherence to Truist standards and governance requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Senior leader leading a team of professional analysts with focus on multiple cyber business areas. Rapidly create dashboard solutions through analytics, insights and custom innovative technologies by bridging technical expertise of business analysts, data scientists, software developers, data engineers and business intelligence developers. Collaborate with business leaders, understand business strategy, apply subject-matter, functional expertise, industry solution knowledge and technical knowledge to identify and prioritize the highest impact analytics and data initiatives and visually articulate value proposition with preciseness and brevity. Make judgments about priorities and the team's approach to work based on an understanding of how the team contributes to the achievement of broader objectives. Ensure key stakeholders are trained and educated on the use of analytics technologies. Consult with senior leaders across the organization to understand gaps in how they are able to access data and perform analysis. Identify optimal analytic solutions to meet their use cases. Risk management: Ensure all product management lifecycle processes & procedures are followed, supporting security, risk, audit, and more, and ensure action items and deadlines are met. Direct, lead, coach and develop a team supporting advanced analytics to maximize resources, manage workloads and ensure on-time deliverables. Coach teams by identifying right training programs, mentoring, leading knowledge sharing programs to develop ability of teammates to apply the right solution to the right strategic initiative. Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree and six to eight years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security Previous experience in leading complex IT projects Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of industry-recognized experience and leadership 5+ years of consultative business analysis experience Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills - ability to generate actionable insight and recommendations from complex analytics and large datasets Working knowledge of BI tools (e.g. MicroStrategy, Trifacta, Tableau, QlikView, QlikSense) architecture, functions and features to be able to guide and lead technology teams Working knowledge of analytic tools (SAS, R or Python) Expert knowledge with queries, data warehouse architecture, data quality and data profiling; strong understanding of database concepts like referential integrity, indexes and keys Capable of capturing and modeling complex business cases in terms of tables and relationships Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (STEM preferred) Experience leading teams focused on data or analytics Experience developing cost/benefit analysis reports or equivalent economic analysis Experience in financial services and/or cyber security General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
